Terms and Conditions of Use

Mobile Banking App · Last updated 4 November 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Introduction and acceptance

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the mobile banking application (the “App”) offered by The A.P. Raja Rajeswari Mahila Co-operative Urban Bank Ltd. (the “Bank”). By registering for or using the App, you agree to these Terms, the Bank’s Privacy Policy, and the Bank’s general account terms, which continue to apply. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Definitions

  • “You” means the customer who registers for and uses the App.
  • “Credentials” means your login ID, MPIN, password, OTP, device binding and any biometric unlock you set up.
  • “Services” means the banking and payment services available through the App from time to time.
  • “Service Providers” means the technology providers that develop, host or maintain the App for the Bank.

3. Eligibility and registration

  • You must hold an eligible account with the Bank, be at least 18 years old (or be a minor’s guardian where the Bank permits), and have a mobile number registered with the Bank.
  • Registration requires verification through your registered mobile number and your Credentials. The App is bound to your registered mobile number and device. A change of device or SIM may require you to register again.
  • You must give true, complete and current information and tell the Bank promptly if it changes.

4. Using the App

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms and applicable law.
  • You must not try to reverse-engineer, copy, modify or interfere with the App, use it on a rooted or jailbroken device, use automated tools to access it, or try to access other customers’ information.
  • The App and its content belong to the Bank and its Service Providers. These Terms give you only a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for your own banking.

5. Services available

The Services may include account enquiries and statements, fund transfers (such as IMPS, NEFT, RTGS and UPI), bill payments, deposits and loan services, and service requests, as made available in the App from time to time. The Bank may add, change or withdraw Services, with notice where the law requires.

6. Transactions, limits and charges

  • You authorise the Bank to act on instructions given through the App after authentication with your Credentials. Instructions given this way are treated as given by you.
  • Transactions are subject to limits set by the Bank, the Reserve Bank of India, NPCI and the Bank’s own risk controls. The limits that apply to you are shown in the App or are available from any branch.
  • Fees and charges are as published in the Bank’s Schedule of Charges, available on this website and at branches. Any charge specific to the App will be notified before it applies.
  • UPI and other payment services also follow the rules of NPCI and the participating banks.
  • A transaction, once completed, generally cannot be reversed. Please check the payee details and amount before you confirm. The Bank will help you try to recover an amount sent in error but cannot guarantee it.
  • The Bank may decline, delay or reverse a transaction where it suspects fraud or a breach of law, where funds are insufficient, or where a limit is exceeded.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Keep your Credentials secret. Never share your MPIN, password or OTP with anyone, including anyone claiming to be from the Bank.
  • Do not write down or store your Credentials where others can see them. Choose an MPIN that is not easy to guess.
  • Keep your phone and SIM secure, install updates, and use a screen lock. Tell the Bank at once if your phone or SIM is lost, stolen or replaced.
  • Check your alerts and statements regularly and report anything you do not recognise immediately.
  • You are responsible for mobile data or other charges from your telecom provider.

8. The Bank’s responsibilities

  • The Bank will take reasonable care to provide the Services and keep your information secure, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
  • The Bank will send transaction alerts to your registered mobile number and will act promptly on reports of loss or misuse.
  • The Bank will tell you of important changes to these Terms.

9. Unauthorised transactions and your liability

Please report any unauthorised or suspicious transaction to the Bank immediately, using the contacts in section 15. How much you are responsible for depends on who was at fault and how quickly you report, in line with the Reserve Bank of India’s directions on limiting customer liability in unauthorised electronic banking transactions, as applicable to Urban Co-operative Banks, and the Bank’s board-approved customer protection policy.

  • You have zero liability where the unauthorised transaction results from a fault in the Bank’s or the system’s security, or from a third party’s breach where neither you nor the Bank is at fault, provided you report it within the time those directions allow.
  • Where the loss is due to your own negligence, such as sharing your Credentials, you bear the loss until you report it to the Bank. After you report it, you bear no further loss.
  • In other cases, your liability is limited as those directions and the Bank’s policy provide, depending on how soon you report. The details are available from the Bank on request.

10. Service availability

The Bank aims to keep the App available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The App may be unavailable during maintenance, because of network or technical problems, or events outside the Bank’s control. The Bank is not responsible for losses caused by such events, to the extent the law allows.

11. Third-party services

The App may link to or use services from others, such as NPCI’s UPI, your telecom provider, or app stores. Those services have their own terms. The Bank is not responsible for them, except where the law says otherwise.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Bank is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by your failure to follow these Terms, by information you gave incorrectly, or by events outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under law, including the RBI directions on customer protection, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Suspension and ending use

  • The Bank may suspend or end your access to the App for security reasons, suspected fraud or misuse, a breach of these Terms, or where the law requires, and will tell you where it can.
  • You can stop using the App at any time and ask to deregister. See our Account and Data Deletion page, linked in the footer, for how to do this. Closing the underlying bank account is done separately at your branch.

14. Changes to these Terms

The Bank may change these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be shown in the App and on the Bank’s website with the date they were last updated. If you keep using the App after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. Where a change significantly affects your rights, the Bank will give you notice in advance.

15. Contact, complaints and escalation

  • Customer care: ho@rajarajeswaribank.bank.in. You can also visit any branch of the Bank during working hours.
  • Responsible person for complaints: the Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director (CEO/MD). The Bank acknowledges complaints promptly and aims to resolve them within the timelines prescribed by the Reserve Bank of India and applicable law.
  • If you are not satisfied, or do not receive a reply within 30 days, you may approach the Reserve Bank of India’s Integrated Ombudsman Scheme at cms.rbi.org.in.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any rights you have under the Ombudsman Scheme or other law, the courts at Hyderabad have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.

17. General

  • If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force.
  • The Bank’s delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone else. The Bank may transfer its rights and duties as the law permits.
  • These Terms are in addition to the Bank’s account terms and conditions. If they conflict on App use, these Terms apply to the App.
